ABOUT OUR HOTEL SPONSORS

In response to feedback from teams and hotels alike, we are not using a rooming service this year. Instead, we are "eliminating the middleman" and providing an extensive list of sponsor hotels with whom you are free to make your own arrangements. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO USE ONE OF THE HOTELS LISTED BELOW. For your convenience, links are provided to each hotel's website. These are among the best-located and best-managed hotels in the area.  These are special group rates, lower than standard rates for this weekend.  Be sure to ask for the Vulcan Cup block.  Rates are valid until Feb. 18.

Why do we refer to these hotels as sponsors? Each sponsor-hotel contributes $5.00 per room night to support the tournament. All proceeds go to programs of Mountain Brook Soccer Club, American Soccer Club and Birmingham United Soccer Association, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated exclusively to youth soccer. Please patronize these generous sponsors. That way, WE ALL WIN!

DRIVING TIMES TO FIELDS:

No sponsor hotel is more than 30 minutes from any field, except for Fultondale, Fairfield and Bessemer. The overwhelming majority are less than 10 minutes. WE WILL NOT BE USING THE BALLARD POLO FIELDS THIS YEAR. Because of uncertainties associated with seeding and age grouping, field assignments are not finalized until shortly before the tournament. DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE FIELDS ARE ASSIGNED TO BOOK YOUR ROOM! All the most desirable hotels sell out long before field assignments are finalized. Go ahead and pick a hotel, make your reservations and relax. You'll be within a reasonable driving distance of any field.
